In 2007, Ryder began her journey in real estate part-time, seeking a new avenue to assist others. Following a career-ending injury in 2017, she transitioned to a full-time role as a real estate agent.

She is also passionate about Soroptimist International of Capitola by the Sea, a nonprofit focused on providing mentorship and scholarships to young girls and single mothers. In her leisure time, Ryder enjoys the ocean, painting, and traveling.
