He also successfully owned and operated a merchandising company before relocating to pursue new opportunities.

He attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, and Towson State University in Baltimore, Maryland. In November 2014, Mr. Ryan moved to the Fort Lauderdale area from Pennsylvania, originally hailing from Lutherville, Maryland, a suburb of Baltimore. He and his Wheaten Terrier, Riley, are pleased to call Fort Lauderdale their home.
