Scott's interest in real estate began early in life, as he has personally navigated property transactions in multiple states across the U.S. and in South America. Growing up in South Georgia, he frequently visited Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach, where his family was among the first to purchase a condominium townhouse at Amelia Island Plantation in the 1970s. His appreciation for the island deepened during a memorable visit to the “Sunken Forest,” where he observed the developer's commitment to preserving the local ecosystems.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Scott has a rich history of community involvement. During one summer of his undergraduate studies, he served as a lifeguard at the Plantation Beach Club. Now a full-time resident of Fernandina Beach, he enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, including swimming, running, biking, horseback riding, and stand-up paddleboarding. An artist at heart, Scott also engages in painting, sculpting, and design.
