About Scott Macintosh

Scott, a native of Enfield, Connecticut, earned his degree in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. Following his graduation, he relocated to Miami, where he took on the role of Director of Sports Medicine at the Fontainebleau Hilton Spa. In this capacity, Scott began to design spa and fitness centers for the hospitality sector, contributing to notable projects such as the Edna Rock Spa in Miami, the Sandal Royal Bahamia Spa in Nassau, and the Royal St. Lucia Spa in the West Indies. His foray into real estate began in Miami, where he purchased, renovated, and sold various properties.

After several years serving as Vice President of Operations for Concession Services at Carnival Cruise Lines, overseeing operations on 14 ships and four resorts across the Caribbean and Alaska, Scott made a pivotal decision while vacationing in the Blue Ridge Mountains. He acquired a 10-acre parcel in the High Country, initially intended as a retirement retreat. However, upon returning from this serene locale, he chose to relocate permanently and embark on a full-time career in real estate.

Scott's journey in real estate took a significant turn when he acquired Blowing Rock Investment Properties, where he had previously worked for a year. He now serves as the President and Broker-in-Charge. With his personal experience in seeking a tranquil retreat and his passion for real estate, Scott is well-equipped to understand and meet clients' needs.
