About me

I grew up in the Dobson Ranch area of Mesa AZ and went to college in St Petersburg FL After college I moved back to Arizona to pursue business ownership and development with my knowledge gained while getting my BA in Business Management and participating in Eckerd College Search & Rescue (a leadership development program disguised as a maritime search and rescue program the only one of its kind in the country) I know Phoenix and especially the east valley cities of Mesa Tempe Chandler Gilbert Queen Creek and Scottsdale like the back of my hand

I live in Gilbert AZ near my parents and sister I have been doing trathlon since 2005 This was her first and my second and I have also completed the Arizona Ironman in 2007 When I am determined to do something it gets done! I also enjoy traveling with my son to visit family and to experience other cultures as much as possible I enjoy Scuba poker hiking triathlon and spending time with my family

I am also very active in our local Realtor Association SEVRAR I graduate the leadership program in 2012 I was the inagural co-chair and chair of the YPN Networking group helping to establish this group and our successful events I am currently the co-chair and will be the chair of the Community Outreach Committee in 2015 I sit on the Building Task force and hold an ex-officio position on the Board of Directors

My Experience

From 1998 to present day I have been involved in many different aspects of the real estate and lending industry I have participated in over $250 million in real estate transactions as the buyer or the direct lender through my ownership and participation in various partnerships These partnerships have purchased and sold in excess of 2500 homes in the Phoenix Metro area

I have been involved in every aspect of the distressed residential real estate process from research and acquisitions to repairs and maintenance to negotiation and marketing for sale to property management On the lending side I have participated in raising private capital working with commercial banks to secure additional capital loan origination underwriting foreclosing to playing the asset manager and liquidation role as the markets changed I have bought property directly from foreclosure auctions private auctions banks REO's private individuals other investors and most recently Short Sales

I have been involved in the take over of a property acquisition repair and resale company from losing over $250 000 to profitability the start-up and expansion of a 6 state property wholesaler and hard money lender and acquisition and refurbishing of a condominium project ($34 million)
