Shawn Quinn entered the real estate sector in 1984, driven by a deep-seated enthusiasm for the field. He began his career as a sales associate at Bratty Real Estate, which later evolved into Sotheby’s International Realty - Pacific Grove Brokerage. His diverse experience includes roles as a real estate loan officer and as the owner and broker of a local mortgage company. This background enables Shawn to guide clients in selecting suitable financing options and collaborating effectively with lenders.

In 2008, amid a challenging market landscape, Shawn established QRE Group, a real estate brokerage and investment firm focused on acquiring foreclosures and managing the renovation and resale of distressed properties. He later returned to Sotheby’s International Realty, marking a full-circle moment back to his original starting point.

Shawn takes pride in assisting sellers to prepare their homes for the market and helping buyers discover their ideal properties. He has a particular interest in envisioning and planning enhancements for outdated or neglected homes. With 28 years of industry experience, he aims to alleviate clients' concerns by simplifying the complexities of real estate transactions into manageable steps.

He holds a Certified Probate Real Estate Specialist (CPRES) designation, specializing in properties involved in trusts, estates, and probate. His personal experiences encompass long-term and vacation rentals, renovating and selling "fixer-upper" projects, and participating in 1031 tax-deferred exchanges.

Shawn earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business from Westmont College in Santa Barbara and an MBA from Golden State University in San Francisco. He is an active member of the Rotary Club of Monterey and has held leadership positions within the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (now known as CAMP) and the Realtor® Toastmasters Club. Currently residing in Pacific Grove with his son, Shawn believes that "providing information empowers my clients to make informed, confident decisions."
