About Sherri Eppler-Dubeau

Jack and Sherri bring over 35 years of sales experience to their real estate practice, having initially established a successful car dealership in the Central Valley's Westside. Their commitment to delivering a comprehensive service experience has seamlessly transitioned into their real estate endeavors.

Understanding the complexities of real estate, Jack and Sherri prioritize transparency, communication, and trust. They recognize that the industry often reduces clients to mere transactions, which can lead to oversight. Their goal is to provide a distinctive experience that simplifies the process, ensuring that clients feel supported throughout every stage of the transaction. Even after closing, their dedication to client satisfaction continues, fostering lasting relationships.

Both Jack and Sherri hail from Firebaugh, a small town in California's Central Valley. Their backgrounds in competitive sports instilled a strong work ethic. Jack's upbringing was shaped by his father's role as a franchise owner in an international agricultural equipment company, where he developed essential negotiation skills. In 1977, Jack was drafted by the Cleveland Indians, spending three years in professional baseball, which further expanded his network and competitive spirit—qualities he now applies to benefit his clients.

Sherri's early life was influenced by her father's career as a Flight Engineer in the Air Force, which required the family to relocate several times before settling back in Firebaugh after the Vietnam War. This experience fostered her independence and work ethic, as she often assisted her father in their family-owned gas stations and transport business. She earned a Bachelor’s degree and a teaching credential from California State University, Fresno, in 1987. Her commitment to service is reflected in her role as a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), driven by a deep compassion for veterans. In a remarkable act of kindness, she donated a kidney to Jack’s close friend, Dave Henderson, a former player for the Oakland Athletics.

Jack and Sherri believe that trustworthiness is rooted in transparency. They approach each transaction not merely as a sale, but as an opportunity to ensure client satisfaction. Their aim is to cultivate enduring friendships with their clients, emphasizing a relationship that extends well beyond the closing table.

With 3,881 actively licensed real estate agents operating throughout the county—all of whom maintain current email addresses—this market demonstrates both robust professional activity and digital connectivity that reflects modern real estate practices.

The region's housing market has experienced remarkable resilience, with median home prices offering significant value propositions compared to neighboring counties while still benefiting from California's overall economic growth. Fresno County's strategic location between major metropolitan areas creates unique investment opportunities, particularly as remote work trends drive buyers to seek larger properties at more accessible price points than traditional coastal markets.

Major Fresno County, California Real Estate Markets

The City of Fresno anchors the county's real estate activity, serving as the fifth-largest city in California with diverse neighborhoods ranging from historic downtown revitalization areas to expanding suburban developments. Clovis has emerged as a particularly sought-after market, known for excellent schools and family-friendly communities that attract buyers from across the state. Other significant markets include Selma, Reedley, and Sanger, each offering distinct characteristics from agricultural proximity to small-town charm with modern amenities.

The county's foothill communities, including areas near Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks, represent a growing luxury market segment that surprises many industry observers. These regions attract both second-home buyers and primary residents seeking natural beauty and outdoor recreation access, creating specialized market dynamics that require deep local expertise to navigate effectively.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Fresno County's real estate landscape reflects California's agricultural economy alongside growing tech and healthcare sectors, creating diverse buyer profiles from first-time homebuyers to agricultural investors and lifestyle purchasers. The market shows interesting seasonal patterns tied to both traditional real estate cycles and agricultural calendars, with certain rural properties experiencing peak activity during harvest planning periods.

Geographic complexity defines much of the county's market character, with elevation changes, water rights considerations, and zoning variations creating micro-markets that require specialized knowledge. Properties can range from urban condominiums to working ranches, vineyard estates to mountain retreats, making local expertise absolutely essential for successful transactions across different property types and price ranges.
