About Somer Wallan

Somer is a lifelong resident of Southern Humboldt, having grown up in the community. She completed her high school education at South Fork High School in Miranda before pursuing a degree in counseling and psychology at Santa Rosa Junior College.

Deeply committed to her local community, Somer co-founded Tumblestars Gymnastics in 2011 alongside her business partner, Leslie Goff. This initiative provides recreational gymnastics classes for children in the area. Additionally, she is actively involved with the Eel River Valley Youth Soccer League, where she coaches both soccer and futsal. Somer also contributes to the local Rotary Club, participating in various community projects.

In her leisure time, Somer enjoys exploring the beauty of her surroundings with her two children, Owen and Tanner. They frequently engage in community events, including the Avenue of the Giants Marathon, the Summer Arts Festival, and various holiday celebrations.

Somer is a member of the Humboldt Board of Realtors, the Association of Realtors, and the National Board of Realtors.
