About Stacie Wells

Stacie was raised on a cattle and hay ranch just north of Red Lodge, Montana, where she cultivated a profound appreciation for agriculture, ranching, and the equestrian lifestyle. As a member of a fourth-generation ranching family, Stacie remains dedicated to preserving the traditions of the West.

In 2000, she earned an Associate's degree in Agricultural Business from Northwest College. Instead of pursuing a bachelor's degree, Stacie chose to gain practical experience at Cottonwood Ranch in Silesia, Montana, where she managed the show horse barn and trained reining horses for several years. Shortly after her tenure at Cottonwood Ranch, she married Bruce Wells, whose family shares a similar passion for ranching and horses.

In 2005, Stacie, Bruce, and her father, Dennis, established Montana Equine Transport, which provided transportation services for equine enthusiasts across the country for over a decade. The company became the preferred choice for numerous top ranch and performance horse sales. During this period, Stacie took on various roles, including scheduling, marketing, and driving.

Simultaneously, Stacie worked with a cutting horse trainer and contributed to the Switchback Cutting Horse operation, deepening her passion for working horses. Over the years, she and Bruce have trained and sold several rope horses, a pursuit they continue to enjoy.

In 2015, Stacie obtained her real estate license, followed by her Broker's license in 2017. She joined Landmark of Billings in 2018 as a Broker/Owner, benefiting from a team with over 100 years of combined experience in the Farm/Ranch division. Stacie specializes in Rural Residential and Farm/Ranch properties.

Stacie and Bruce are proud parents to three children: Colt and his twin sisters, Paizlee and Preslee. In their leisure time, the family enjoys roping, rodeo, camping, and fishing.
