About Stacy Scott

Stacy Palmer Scott began her real estate journey in Vail, Colorado, where she served as an assistant for the leading residential firm in the area. During her tenure, she supported a top agent who was honored as Realtor of the Year. Stacy has since achieved the Graduate Realtor Institute (GRI) designation from the National Association of Realtors (NAR).

After relocating to Minnesota to be closer to family, Stacy joined Counselor Realty in Detroit Lakes. Her diverse experience includes collaborating with various developers and working with lake properties, residential short sales, and REO bank-owned properties. A graduate of Shanley High School in Fargo, North Dakota, she continued her education at Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Stacy is a familiar face in the Cormorant Lakes region, having spent many summers at her family cabin on Big Cormorant Lake. A former national competitive water skier, she has enjoyed skiing on numerous lakes throughout Minnesota. It was in this vibrant lakes community that she met her husband, Lee, and where they now raise their daughter.
