Stephen Gardner Jr. was born in 1969 in Bayshore, New York. His family relocated to Florida during his childhood, where he attended Port Orange Elementary School and later Sacred Heart Elementary in New Smyrna Beach. He completed his education at Father Lopez High School, where he met his future wife, Heather. Stephen pursued higher education at Western Carolina University, becoming an active member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity, where he held various leadership roles, including pledge trainer and vice president. After earning a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, he began his career at Allandale Garden Center and Florist, a family business, where he worked for several years before marrying Heather Scott. The couple is now proud parents to two daughters, Hannah and Lauren.

In 2004, Stephen joined Watson Realty Corp in Port Orange, leveraging his deep-rooted knowledge of the Greater Daytona Beach area. His extensive understanding of the local market, combined with a wide network of connections, has positioned him as a trusted resource in the community.
