About Steve Canada

Stephen Canada, a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas, has a diverse background in both logistics and real estate. He began his academic journey in drafting and architecture at Westark Community College before transferring to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, where he shifted his focus to international logistics.

In 1982, Stephen relocated to Tulsa, where he earned his U.S. Customs Brokerage license through the Treasury Department. He played a pivotal role in establishing two U.S. Customs brokerage offices, primarily serving as a liaison between the American Airlines Maintenance Base and U.S. Customs. His career in logistics culminated in a 15-year tenure with a global air express company, where he ultimately held the position of District Manager before retiring in 2009.

Stephen first ventured into real estate in the mid-1980s, concentrating on HUD properties in Tulsa County. During this time, he also launched a one-hour film processing business in Broken Arrow. Recognizing a promising opportunity in real estate, he reinstated his license in the fall of 2009 and joined McGraw Realtors as a sales associate, focusing on residential sales throughout the metro area. He values the relationships he builds with clients, stating, “I love building relationships with my clients that continue beyond the transaction.”

In addition to his professional endeavors, Stephen has been actively involved in his community. He served as Vice President of the Union High School Golf Booster Club during the 2004-2005 school years, where he organized fundraising golf tournaments for the boys' and girls' golf programs. Since January 2009, he has been the social chairman for the Cimarron Region of the Porsche Club of America, where he has coordinated the annual Toy Drive for Kids fundraiser, benefiting the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program. He is also a member of his neighborhood homeowners association, focusing on architectural review.

In his leisure time, Stephen enjoys motorcycle riding, cycling along the Tulsa trail system, detailing his cars, gardening, and golfing.
