Additionally, he led the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee for the Highlands Board of County Commissioners and participated in the Tax Abatement Advisory Committee, which successfully advocated for tax incentives to promote business growth in the county.

Residing on Lake Placid with his wife, Janine, Steve is deeply engaged in waterfront property matters and is a founding member of the Lake Placid Lake Association. He has also served on the Highlands County Water Advisory Committee.
