Her educational journey began in local schools, followed by studies at Santa Barbara City College and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UC Santa Barbara. In 1997, she and her husband launched a successful local franchise, Budget Blinds of Santa Barbara, before she obtained her real estate license in 2003.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Summer is actively engaged in community service and charitable initiatives. She currently holds positions on the Board of Directors for both the Santa Barbara Association of Realtors and the Mountain View School Foundation, where she serves as Treasurer. Her previous roles include Treasurer/Auditor on the Executive Board of the Mountain View School PTA and membership on the Supervisory Committee for the Santa Barbara County Federal Credit Union. Additionally, she dedicates time to teaching Bible studies.

Summer and her husband cherish raising their family in the picturesque Santa Barbara area. They enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, beach outings, and biking, taking full advantage of the region's offerings. An enthusiastic runner and traveler, Summer also appreciates quiet moments spent reading by the pool or on the beach.
