About Susan Annoura

Susan Kwok Annoura, a Houston native, has deep roots in the city, having moved there at the age of two when her parents joined NASA’s Johnson Space Center. She graduated Cum Laude from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s degree in Business and a Certification in Asian Studies.

In 1994, at 22, Susan relocated to Fukuoka, Japan, where she spent nine years as a radio personality at LOVE FM 76.1, hosting a variety of live programs, including the Top 40 Countdown. During her time in Japan, she married Koh Annoura, a professional KEIRIN bicycle racer, earned a Master’s degree in Education from Temple University Japan, and welcomed two sons, Joe and Ty.

After 14 years abroad, Susan and her family returned to Houston, where she quickly obtained her real estate license. Her passion for assisting international families in their relocation to Houston led her to work at a major brokerage for two years. In 2010, she achieved her Texas broker’s license and established Annoura Realty Group LLC. By 2021, her firm had grown to become the largest real estate company in Houston specializing in Japanese expatriate relocation, employing five Japanese-speaking agents and one Mandarin-speaking agent. The company also provides comprehensive property management services for investors, utilizing Appfolio software for efficient rent collection, maintenance requests, and financial reporting.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Susan is actively involved in the Houston Association of Realtors, having served on the international advisory group for a decade and chairing the group in 2018. She is also a member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo’s international committee, where she has served as the Japanese interpreter for the BBQ Cookoff’s International Village. Additionally, she is affiliated with the US Japan Council, the Asian Real Estate Association of America, the Japanese Business Association of Houston, and Gateway Community Church. In 2022, Susan took on the role of President of the Women’s Council of Realtors Houston and will serve as Vice Chairman of the Texas Realtors Global Committee.

Residing in Clear Lake City with her husband Koh and their three sons, including Zachary, born in 2012, Susan is dedicated to her clients, often available at all hours. To commemorate the 10th anniversary of Annoura Realty Group, she launched a new bilingual website in English and Japanese.
