About Suzanne Merrick

Suzanne Iselin has been a licensed broker with Harcourts The Garner Group since February 2011, bringing extensive experience in real estate to Central Oregon. Her career in the industry began in 2002 when she obtained her Oregon broker’s license, following her initial licensure in Hawaii in 1999.

As a certified Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES) through the National Association of Realtors, Suzanne has undergone advanced training to effectively and ethically address the unique needs of clients aged 50 and older.

Additionally, Suzanne has pursued advanced education in green building practices, earning the Earth Advantage Broker designation. This certification, which includes classroom instruction, site visits, and examinations, equips her to identify energy-efficient home features and building products that promote sustainability and enhance living environments.

Raised in Eugene, Suzanne graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Leisure Studies and Services. Before entering real estate, she enjoyed a successful career as a tennis professional, teaching at prestigious locations such as Amelia Island Plantation in Florida and the Maui Marriott, Hyatt Regency Maui, and Kapalua Tennis Garden in Hawaii. During her time in Maui, she played a key role in revitalizing the United States Tennis Association’s "Tennis In The Schools" program across the Hawaiian Islands.

After 14 years in Hawaii, Suzanne relocated to Bend in 2002, where she had the opportunity to work alongside her parents, Joan and Keith Iselin, who were established real estate brokers in Central Oregon, until their retirement.

Currently residing in NorthWest Crossing with her wire-haired pointer, Tucker, Suzanne enjoys an active lifestyle. Her daughter, Sierra, is a recent graduate of the University of Oregon, while her son, Jake, is currently attending the same institution. In her free time, Suzanne is passionate about exploring Central Oregon’s outdoor recreational activities, including skiing, hiking, stand-up paddleboarding, and fly fishing.
