About Suzette Kitselman

Suzette has dedicated her entire career to the real estate sector, combining her extensive experience with a hands-on approach to property management and investment. Her journey began in the 1970s, processing home loans before transitioning into real estate sales and eventually becoming a California Certified Appraiser in the 1980s. Under her leadership, The Kitselman Company emerged as the largest appraisal firm in the San Francisco Bay Area, earning a spot on the Top 5 Approved Appraisers List for major banks. Her expertise also extended to providing expert witness testimony in real estate litigation and serving as a government contractor with the Office of Thrift Supervision.

While investing in and restoring historic Victorian homes in San Francisco, Suzette sold her appraisal business to her employees after 11 years. She then ventured into mortgage brokerage in the 1990s, where she achieved Top Producer status at InterBay Financial. In 2000, she returned to Southern California and established Independent Investments LLC, focusing on property acquisitions nationwide.

In 2010, Suzette returned to her passion for real estate sales, now serving the greater Los Angeles area with Coldwell Banker. Here, she leads a skilled team that manages various aspects of real estate, including marketing, graphic design, transaction management, and client services. Her specialized division offers assistance in arranging domestic staffing, from chefs to personal security, as well as connecting clients with reliable contractors for any home improvement needs.

Raised in La Jolla, California, Suzette has a diverse range of interests, including travel, cooking, sailing, and horseback riding. A cancer survivor, she speaks multiple languages and cherishes her 22 nieces and nephews.
