About Suzy Dix

My family has lived in the Spokane area for generations My mom was born here in 1914 and my dad was president of Dix Corporation here in Spokane I grew up in Spokane and graduated from WSU I then went on to get a Masters Degree in Biology and Education with an emphasis in Anatomy and Physiology from Gonzaga University While degrees in anatomy and education may seem odd for a Realtor that background has served me well (I get bunged up occasionally playing polo!)

I’ve been selling houses and properties since 1989 In 2014 I sold properties totaling $10 1 million ranking me in the top 20 of Spokane area realtors every year since 1998 I was also ranked in the top 3 “Best Realtor” listing in the “Pacific Northwest Inlander” annual readers poll

In economic times where so many people are hurting financially I regularly handle the sale or purchase of my client’s biggest asset I take personal responsibility in that I feel for my sellers in tough situations and realize the importance my expertise brings to their lives A well—handled real estate transaction can be a win-win for both the seller and the buyer Consider choosing a Realtor because they are a pro with a successful track record Do not turn over your largest asset to your family’s friend Would you do this with your entire stock portfolio

I am passionate about my service to the community and beyond I have been appointed to the Board of Trustees for The Nature Conservancy in Washington State (www nature org) am a sponsor of the Cobra Polo Classic Benefitting the Ronald McDonald House Charities Spokane (rmhspokane org) and a board member of the Dishman Hills Conservancy (www dishmanhills org) The DHC is a conservation minded organization working with neighbors and landowners and is committed to the management and stewardship of this unique area We are in the process of trying to link Spokane County Park land Department of Natural Resource land and the Dishman Hills Natural Area to provide a close-in place for recreation education and wildlife corridors I am also a board member of Carl Wilken’s “World Outside My Shoes” —an organization whose goal is to inspire and equip people to stand up against genocide racism and intolerance (www worldoutsidemyshoes org) In the past I have been involved with the Ronald McDonald House as a board member WSU Foundation for Planned Giving Meals on Wheels past vice president of The Morning Star Boys Ranch Foundation am past president of the Spokane Polo Club and board member of Spokanimal animal rescue

Many of my clients get involved with me in these organizations Maybe it’s my passion rubbing off on them or maybe I am just a tough person to say “no” to Either way these wonderful organizations benefit from their involvement

When I am not showing houses and property I am running my working farm with 30 horses (polo roping and breeding stock) or playing polo I’ve played internationally in Ambassador’s Cup matches (invitation only and often as the only woman competing) and in women’s tournaments in England Australia Mexico New Zealand and South Africa No matter where I go on these quick trips I am in touch with my clients by phone on a daily basis Polo is a great sport and I have leveraged that interest into initiating and serving on the organizing committee for the annual Cobra Roofing Polo Classic that has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the Ronald McDonald House

I've got two great kids—both graduates of Washington State University (located just 80 miles south of Spokane in Pullman) Catlin now owns the Catlin Dix Horse and Cattle Company where she breeds and raises horses and cattle after serving as the head of the Equine Therapy Program at the Morningstar Boys Ranch in Spokane Cody has a degree in ag economics and is working on his father’s cattle ranch southwest of Spokane He was featured on the cover of the Inlander as "The Last of the Cowboys" Both of my kids were on the WSU Rodeo Team were members of the Spokane Ski Racing Association and are members of the Spokane Polo Club

My four big interests are my family farm horses and land Real estate is not just my career it’s also something I invest in myself I am a true believer in what I do and I think that after working with me you will be too

Spokane County's real estate market represents one of Washington State's most dynamic and diverse property landscapes, spanning from urban downtown districts to sprawling rural acreage. With 2,588 total actively licensed agents serving the region, this market demonstrates remarkable depth and professional coverage that reflects the area's growing economic importance in the Pacific Northwest. The density of real estate professionals indicates a robust transaction volume and competitive marketplace that attracts both local residents and out-of-state investors.

What makes Spokane County particularly fascinating is its blend of affordable urban living and recreational property opportunities, creating unique investment patterns that differ significantly from Seattle's high-cost market. The presence of 2,588 agents with email connectivity ensures that digital marketing and virtual property tours have become standard practice, enabling seamless transactions even for remote buyers discovering the region's value proposition.

Major Spokane County, Washington Real Estate Markets

The City of Spokane dominates the county's real estate activity, with neighborhoods like South Hill, Browne's Addition, and the revitalized downtown core driving significant appreciation and development interest. Spokane Valley represents the second major market concentration, offering suburban family homes and new construction that appeals to Boeing employees and other aerospace professionals relocating from more expensive Washington markets. Liberty Lake has emerged as a premium residential destination, while Cheney benefits from Eastern Washington University's consistent student housing demand.

Rural markets throughout the county, including areas near Medical Lake, Deer Park, and the vast unincorporated regions, present unique opportunities for agricultural properties, recreational land, and custom home sites. These diverse geographic markets require specialized knowledge, explaining why the county supports such a substantial agent population across relatively dispersed communities and property types.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Spokane County's real estate market operates on multiple economic drivers, from healthcare and education employment in urban areas to agricultural and recreational property demand in rural zones. Seasonal fluctuations significantly impact certain segments, with lakefront and recreational properties experiencing intense spring and summer activity, while urban residential markets maintain steadier year-round transaction patterns. The market's complexity increases due to varying zoning regulations, water rights considerations, and significant elevation differences across the county's terrain.

Price appreciation patterns vary dramatically between urban Spokane proper and outlying communities, creating arbitrage opportunities that sophisticated investors actively pursue. The market's relative affordability compared to western Washington continues attracting California and Seattle-area buyers, introducing cash transactions and above-asking offers that surprise local market participants and accelerate appreciation in select neighborhoods.

Why Businesses Need Spokane County, Washington Agent Contact Data

Mortgage lenders, insurance companies, and home service providers require comprehensive agent contact databases to effectively penetrate Spokane County's fragmented market structure. With agents distributed across urban, suburban, and rural specializations, targeted marketing campaigns must reach the right professionals serving specific property types and geographic niches. The complete email coverage of all 2,588 licensed agents enables sophisticated segmentation and personalized outreach that traditional advertising cannot achieve.

Real estate technology companies, title services, and investment firms particularly benefit from direct agent access, as Spokane County's diverse market conditions create varied service needs and partnership opportunities. Having verified contact information allows businesses to build relationships with agents handling everything from first-time homebuyer transactions in Spokane Valley to complex rural land deals requiring specialized expertise and local market knowledge.
