About Sylvana Meeks

Sylvana is a dedicated member of the Borrego Springs community, having held various leadership roles, including president of the Borrego Springs Unified School District Board of Directors and the Borrego Art Institute Board of Directors. She has also contributed to the Borrego Valley Endowment Fund and the Chamber of Commerce, and served as the director of the Miss Borrego Springs Pageant, a title she herself held in 1989.

Her involvement in Rotary International is extensive; she has served as president of the Borrego Springs Rotary Club, Assistant District Governor, Chief Assistant Governor, and District Governor’s Aide for Rotary District 5340. Additionally, she is the treasurer of the Borrego Springs Rotary Foundation and has been active on the Little League Board, managing and coaching her son’s baseball teams.

Sylvana and her husband, Randy—a lifelong resident of Borrego Springs and a general contractor—are proud parents to two sons, Dylan and Derik. As a co-Broker/Owner of Coldwell Banker Borrego, Sylvana has made significant contributions to the local real estate market. Her community service has been recognized through several honors, including two years as the Honorary Mayor of Borrego Springs and the Lifetime Achievement Award from the Borrego Springs Chamber of Commerce. She has also received the Avenue of Service Citation from Rotary International, the Rotary 5340 Governor’s Visionary Award, and the Soroptimist Ruby Award for Helping Women from Soroptimist International of Borrego Springs.

Having lived in Borrego Springs since the age of 13, Sylvana is a graduate of Borrego Springs High School and attended Point Loma Nazarene University. Before her career in real estate, she spent 13 years at La Casa Del Zorro Resort, where she managed retail and salon services. Sylvana holds a Real Estate Broker's License and several professional designations, including Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Residential Specialist, e-PRO Technology Certification, and Graduate Realtor Institute Certification. She has also earned the Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource Certification and has been recognized with the Real Estate Circle of Excellence Gold from the San Diego Association of Realtors, as well as being a member of the Coldwell Banker International President’s Circle for Production.
