About Tamima Friedman

Tamima Friedman played a pivotal role in establishing Keller Williams NJ Metro Group in 2010, following a successful seven-year tenure at RE/MAX, where she earned recognition as a five-time member of the 100% Club for her outstanding sales performance. Before relocating to New Jersey, Tamima spent a decade in Asia, where she honed her skills as a journalist in both Hong Kong and Tokyo. Her professional journey also includes a position in the Artistic Affairs department of the American Symphony Orchestra League in Washington, D.C.

Since settling in Montclair in 1996, Tamima has owned two beautiful homes, including a meticulously renovated 120-year-old Victorian. A professional writer and music critic, she studied piano at Oberlin College and is the mother of two teenage daughters. Tamima has actively participated in the local arts community, singing with the Oratorio Society of New Jersey and serving as the past president of the Essex Youth Theater board. She holds both the Green and Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designations from the National Association of Realtors (NAR) and is a member of the Green Resource Council and Temple Ner Tamid in Bloomfield. Additionally, she has contributed as a coordinator for the Purple Dragon Organic Food Coop.
