Originally from New York State, she graduated from Wellesley College with a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural History and pursued graduate studies in Urban Planning at George Washington University. After relocating to the Bay Area in 1982, she has enjoyed living in San Francisco, Sausalito, and various East Bay towns, while also exploring the broader region. She considers this area a remarkable place to call home.
