Her upbringing on various ranches across Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana instilled in her a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for family values. As one of six siblings, Tara learned the importance of commitment and perseverance from an early age. Her passion for horses led her to ride competitively in disciplines such as Western Pleasure, English Hunt Seat, Western Riding, and Cutting. At just 17, she began her career in the equine industry at King Ranch, where she was responsible for the care of the renowned Mr. San Peppy.

After 35 years in competitive riding with the National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA), Tara transitioned to real estate in 2004. This career shift marked a significant transformation in her life, particularly as a single mother. The skills she honed in the horse industry—such as discipline, negotiation, and client relations—proved invaluable in her new venture. Tara's success is rooted in her genuine care for others and her unwavering work ethic, which she applies in both her professional and personal endeavors. Beyond her real estate achievements, she is a passionate advocate for women's empowerment and children's welfare, actively supporting various philanthropic initiatives.

As a prominent luxury and land realtor with extensive knowledge of the North Texas market, Tara's expertise ensures optimal outcomes for her clients. She is the founder of The Tara Stark Real Estate Group, a team built on principles of faith, compassion, and a commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of those they serve. Based in Historic Downtown Weatherford, the team specializes in luxury estates, equestrian facilities, and recreational ranch properties. In the past year alone, they have successfully assisted 93 families in buying and selling properties, earning recognition as the top team in Parker County and across the North Texas-New Mexico-Memphis Keller Williams Region. Tara has also been honored as the top-producing Farm & Ranch agent for Keller Williams International for the past three years.

Tara is a firm believer in giving back to her community and actively supports local charities such as Aledo Advocates, Parker County Children’s Advocacy, and the Careity Foundation. In 2020, she fulfilled a long-held aspiration by purchasing a cutting horse and re-entering the competitive arena.

When not working, Tara enjoys spending quality time with her family, exploring antique shops, and watching sunsets with her beloved red heeler, Reba, and her recent rescue, Max. She continues to travel across the country to compete in the Cutting Horse arena, blending her passion for horses with her thriving real estate career.
