In 2018, Theresa served as the President of the Bass Lake Chamber and held the position of Director for the Bass Lake Homeowners Association. She also participated as a member of the MD7 Rate Payer Working Group.

Together, Theresa and Dennis took on the role of Volunteer Coordinators for the Annual Bass Lake Triathlon and 5K, as well as volunteering for the Yosemite Half Marathon in the same year.
