After completing his education at Bonanza High School, he served four years in the United States Air Force, stationed at Nellis Air Force Base. Following his military service, Tom joined the Henderson Police Department, where he dedicated nearly two decades to community service before retiring in 2006 at the rank of sergeant to pursue a career in real estate.
