Born on June 20th in San Benito, Texas, she is the youngest of four sisters. Her upbringing was shaped by her father's military career in the United States Army, which led the family to various locations and exposed them to diverse cultures.

After her father's retirement, he ventured into home renovation and construction, while her mother pursued a career in real estate with RE/MAX. Following high school, she attended Texas A&M University, where she majored in economics. During her college years, she welcomed her first child, a daughter named Anna. Shortly before graduation, she had her second daughter, Christi, and two years later, her son, Chad.

All three children have embarked on their own successful paths: Anna is a third-grade teacher married to Kevin, an environmental scientist, and they have two children, Nate and Fiona. Christi graduated from the United States Naval Academy and serves as a Commander stationed in San Diego, California, alongside her husband Michael, a network engineer. Chad enlisted in the United States Marine Corps right after high school and currently holds the rank of Gunnery Sergeant at Camp LeJeune, where he is married to Lauren, a fellow Realtor, and they are parents to Ella and Lizzie.

Now adjusting to a semi-empty nest, she shares her home with three Belgian Malinois: Mina, Max, and Moxie. Her professional life is devoted to assisting clients while also supporting her children in their various pursuits. In her spare time, she enjoys training for half-marathons, with a goal of running in every state, working with her dogs, and spending time at dude ranches in South Dakota and Wyoming.
