About Troy Benes

Troy Benes has deep roots in Nebraska, having spent his entire life in the state. He hails from Brainard and is a proud alumnus of East Butler High School. Pursuing higher education, Troy attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, complemented by minors in Management and Communication. Recognizing his passion for real estate early in his academic journey, he obtained his real estate license during his junior year.

Troy began his real estate career at Home Real Estate in Lincoln while still completing his degree. In a short span, he distinguished himself as one of the leading realtors in both Omaha and Lincoln. In February 2007, he joined Prudential, where he was honored with the “Rookie of the Year” award for his outstanding performance.

In 2012, Troy established his own team, Elite Nebraska, and currently serves as the Team Leader and Owner within Berkshire Hathaway Ambassador Real Estate. Under his leadership, Elite Nebraska has emerged as one of the top teams nationally, achieving remarkable success. In 2015 alone, the team closed over 300 transactions, generating more than $52 million in sales volume, and ranked ninth in closed transactions across the entire Prudential/Berkshire network.
