Mick's 27 years of service as a Civil Engineer Corps (CEC) Officer involved in construction, maintenance, and military housing have further enriched their partnership. He has taught Total Quality Management (TQM) at various military commands, yet he acknowledges that his greatest lessons in customer service have come from Trudy.

The Hoff Team is committed to giving back to the community that supports them. They partner with the Children’s Miracle Network, donating a portion of each sale to the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk. During the holiday season, they volunteer their time, with Mick portraying Santa Claus and Trudy as Mrs. Claus, alongside their team as elves, to bring joy to children in need. They also participate in the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon, answering phones to support the cause.
