Tyler Lindell hails from Grafton, North Dakota, located two hours north of Fargo. After completing high school, he pursued his education at the Association Free Lutheran Bible School (AFLBS) in the Twin Cities, where he earned a two-year degree in Biblical Studies. Following this, Tyler attended North Dakota State University, where he achieved a double major in Elementary Education and Human Development and Family Science.

Tyler is married to Kylie, a dedicated preschool teacher at Elim Preschool Center in Fargo. Together, they share their home with Remy, a spirited cockapoo who brings joy to their lives. Tyler's roots run deep in Grafton, where both of his parents have spent the majority of their lives. He also has a sister and a nephew, Kian, residing in Grand Forks, North Dakota.

Outside of his professional commitments, Tyler has a deep appreciation for Fargo and its vibrant community. A passionate hockey enthusiast, he seizes every opportunity to play, whether indoors or outdoors.
