After his son was born, his wife joined him in Georgia, and for the next two years, Tyler balanced his role as an Electronics Engineer with ongoing renovations to their home.

With the arrival of their second child, Tyler transitioned back to North Carolina to work as a Process Engineer for CommScope in Catawba. They sold their home and temporarily moved into his parents' vacant property. A few months later, they acquired a brick duplex, residing in one unit while renting out the other. This experience, combined with his financial acumen, inspired Tyler to pursue a career in real estate.
