About Vance Young

Vance Bondurant Young, a Wilson, North Carolina native, earned his Bachelor of Science degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1985. Following his graduation, he began his professional journey at Merrill Lynch as a licensed financial consultant, receiving extensive training in Manhattan and later at the Princeton Corporate Campus. His exceptional performance in his inaugural year earned him a place in Merrill Lynch's prestigious Executive Circle.

In 1988, Vance realized a long-held aspiration by relocating to Wilmington, where he became a member of the sales team at Landfall, a distinguished 2,200-acre gated community situated along the Intracoastal Waterway and within biking distance of Wrightsville Beach. He and his wife, Porter Eskridge, chose to build their home in Landfall, where they are actively raising their three children amidst a vibrant community that boasts 45 holes of golf designed by renowned architects Pete Dye and Jack Nicklaus, as well as a premier sports center featuring grass tennis courts, crafted by Landfall resident Cliff Drysdale.
