Vanessa Johnson, a native of Austin, Texas, is a seasoned real estate professional with a rich background in both political science and social work, having graduated from Austin College in 1992. Her journey took a significant turn in 1994 when she met her husband, Leon Johnson, while he was studying at the University of North Carolina. Following Leon's draft into the NFL in 1997, the couple spent nearly a decade traveling across the country as he played for teams including the Jets, Bears, Rams, and Chargers.

In September 1999, their son Jaylen was born in New York during Leon's tenure with the Jets. When Jaylen reached school age, the family chose to settle in Moore, Oklahoma City, where they have resided since Leon's retirement in 2004. It was during this transition that Vanessa discovered her passion for real estate, launching her career in 2005. Having moved seven times in nine years, she developed a deep understanding of the buying and selling process, which informs her approach to client service.
