About Vickie Irby

Vickie, a lifelong resident of Halifax County, has deep roots in the Lake Gaston community, where her family has owned property since 1962. This longstanding connection has afforded her the pleasure of spending over 50 summers by the lake's scenic shores.

Her real estate journey began in 1997, initially in a supportive role as the Association Executive Officer for the Lake Gaston Board of REALTORS (RVLG) and as the administrator for their Multiple Listing Service (MLS). During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in establishing the code of ethics committee and served as its inaugural mediator. Vickie's exceptional organizational skills allowed her to balance these responsibilities for more than 13 years while also fulfilling her duties as the Parish Administrator for All Saints' Episcopal Church in Roanoke Rapids, NC, a position she held for two decades before retiring in 2017.

Vickie is dedicated to community service, particularly in support of the local homeless population. She volunteers with Room at the Inn (RATI), a program aiding homeless women and children, serves on the board of the Union Mission, a Christian-based shelter for men, and holds a directorial position with the Boys and Girls Club of Halifax County.

In 2017, Vickie transitioned to a full-time REALTOR, quickly earning the prestigious International Presidents Circle Award, which recognizes the top 5% of REALTORS worldwide. Upon entering the real estate field, she also became a certified agent with USAA, where she finds great fulfillment in assisting military families with their relocation needs.
