Victoria's journey in real estate began in a unique environment, raised by parents who were dedicated real estate investors. This early exposure inspired her to pursue a career that would enable her to assist others in achieving their real estate aspirations.

With over 39 years of experience, Victoria started her career at a small brokerage in Rensselaer County in 1981. She later founded her own firm, Victoria G Realty, which eventually evolved into Century 21 Victoria’s Corner. In 1995, she and 27 agents transitioned to RealtyUSA, where she not only managed one of their offices but also led their Training & Recruiting Division. In 2005, Victoria returned to full-time sales, driven by her passion for helping clients reach their real estate goals. RealtyUSA has since become part of Howard Hanna Real Estate Services following its acquisition in 2016.

Throughout her career, Victoria has been actively involved in her professional community. She has served as Past President of two real estate associations, received the Realtor of the Year award twice, and held the position of Regional Vice President for the state association. Although she has stepped back from many association roles to allow new leaders to emerge, she remains committed to advocating for property rights and homeownership by participating in Realtor Lobby Day each year.

Currently, Victoria leads the Victoria M. Gettings Team at Howard Hanna, which includes Buyer Specialists and a full-time Client Care Coordinator. The team is dedicated to providing comprehensive services that support clients in achieving their real estate objectives. Their expertise encompasses education, market analysis, negotiation, and problem-solving, ensuring a smooth closing process. Importantly, their commitment extends beyond the transaction; they aim to be a lifelong resource for clients, offering guidance on tax grievances, home improvements, contractor referrals, and real estate investment strategies.
