Virginia Torres Bond, the License Partner and founder of Engel & Völkers Tampa Downtown, has successfully merged her professional aspirations with her personal ambitions. With over two decades of experience in the Greater Tampa Bay real estate market, she has garnered numerous accolades for her sales performance, cultural contributions, and philanthropic efforts.

Virginia's collaboration with developers and builders has yielded impressive results. Leveraging her background in developer services and new home construction, she built a high-performing sales team in the luxury waterfront community of Stonelake Ranch in Thonotosassa, Florida.

In 2021, Virginia's team successfully sold all developer lots in Stonelake Ranch. Acting as a real estate concierge for developers, builders, owners, and buyers, her team's presence allowed her to facilitate numerous resale transactions in Stonelake Ranch and the surrounding Lake Thonotosassa area. Notably, Virginia played a crucial role in helping the community recover and exceed property values that had declined during the market fluctuations of 2008, leading to continued appreciation.

As the Stonelake Ranch project neared completion, Virginia contemplated her next steps in the real estate sector. Engel & Völkers Florida approached her with the opportunity to become a license partner and establish her own brokerage. Recognizing the potential to combine her local expertise with Engel & Völkers' prestigious international luxury brand, she embraced the opportunity, setting the stage for a promising future.

Throughout her career, Virginia has actively engaged in fundraising and volunteer work for various charitable organizations, including the Latin American Children’s Fund, Dress for Success, Metropolitan Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Hope Children’s Home, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Race for the Cure, American Stroke Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and the Special Olympics. She currently serves on the Leadership Council for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Engel & Völkers is dedicated to supporting the Special Olympics, focusing on fostering inclusive communities through its Athlete Leadership and Play Unified programs.
