One vivid recollection is of her childhood, when, at the age of seven, she would rush home from school through the fog, eager for a warm snack. Those moments were often followed by family chores, such as tying vines on her grandparents' 20 acres of Thompson grapes, where laughter and conversation made the work enjoyable.

Family values were instilled in Vivian from a young age, emphasizing the importance of community and support for one another. As a mother of three daughters, she recognized the significance of passing these values on. During this time, she became actively involved in swimming, coaching her daughters and attending their meets. However, as their swimming pursuits grew, Vivian sought additional income and found real estate to be an ideal fit. Vivian and her husband, LeRoy, cherish time spent with their children and grandchildren, often retreating to a family cabin that evokes her own childhood summers spent at her grandfather's log cabin. Though the original cabin is no longer in the family, Vivian and LeRoy have purchased a new cabin to continue the tradition of making cherished memories with their loved ones.
