About Wayne Nelson

I graduated from San Diego State with History and Social Science Majors and a Spanish Minor I served in the US Army then 32 years in teaching and now 16 years in Real Estate My hallmark is helping people to connect with others for the betterment of the entire Yakima area community I say "it's all about community " and with that I am involved with various projects including helping weekly in a first grade classroom

I graduated from Infantry Officer Candidate School and served in the Republic of Viet Nam being presented with an Army Commendation Medal and two Bronze Stars for service I taught History and Spanish for 32 years with the Yakima School District In 1993 I was presented with a Fullbright Scholarship to study in Chile
