About Wendell Allman

Shane Allman relocated to East Texas from Dallas in 1991 to pursue a Bachelor of Fine Arts at Stephen F. Austin University, graduating in 1995. Following his education, he settled in Brookeland and embarked on a career as a full-time fishing and duck hunting guide on Lakes Sam Rayburn and Toledo Bend, also competing as a traveling tournament professional. During this period, he met his wife, Christy, who was beginning her Master’s program at SFA. They married in May 2000.

After nearly a decade in the fishing industry, Shane sought a new direction and obtained his real estate license in 2004. Christy joined him in the real estate sector in 2007, coinciding with Shane earning his Broker’s license. In 2008, they established Allman Company REALTORS, opening their first office on the lower end of Sam Rayburn. Their growth continued with the launch of a second office in Broaddus, TX, in 2011, followed by a third office in Hemphill, TX, in 2013. The couple resides in Milam, TX, with their two daughters, Samantha and Cami. Shane is proud to be a third-generation realtor.
