About Wendy Jackson

Wendy Jackson, a native of Cary, North Carolina, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with a concentration in Public Relations from North Carolina State University in 1996. Her professional journey began in fundraising, where she contributed to notable organizations such as the Foundation of Hope for the Research and Treatment of Mental Illness, the Museum of History Associates, and Peace College.

In 1998, Wendy joined York Properties, which later became York Simpson Underwood. She served as Vice President of Relocation Services and Exceptional Homes & Estates until the birth of her daughter, Lauren, in 2007. Wendy played a pivotal role in developing the Luxury Collection program at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices York Simpson Underwood Realty. During her tenure in Relocation, she earned the Relocation Certified Counselor designation and was selected from over 800 firms to serve as an ambassador for this designation within the LEADING REAL ESTATE COMPANIES OF THE WORLD™ network. Under her leadership, the firm was nominated for the 1999 LEADING REAL ESTATE COMPANIES OF THE WORLD™ Award of Excellence in Referral Production.

Wendy is committed to community engagement. In 2001 and 2002, she and her colleagues raised over $10,000, earning recognition as the top corporate team for The Wake Education Partnership.

Outside of her professional commitments, Wendy enjoys traveling to Europe, playing tennis, cooking, and hosting gatherings with her husband, Jason, and their daughter, Lauren. A dedicated member of Colonial Baptist Church in Cary since 1987, she is also a Charter Member.
