Wendy embarked on her real estate journey in 2002 at Rowan Realty, a family-owned business that has been a cornerstone of her life since its inception in 1964. Founded by her aunt, Harriet Rowan, the firm was later led by Wendy’s mother, Carole Zeilman, who boasts an impressive sales record and over five decades of industry experience.

Raised in Carle Place, Wendy excelled academically, graduating as salutatorian in 1972. She pursued higher education at Duke University before returning to Carle Place to earn her Master’s Degree from Pratt Institute. Shortly thereafter, she married Tom, a distinguished litigation attorney who served as Village Justice in Westbury for 32 years. Together, they have three children—Carole, Louis, and Francesca—and have resided in Westbury Gardens for over four decades.

Wendy is actively involved in her community, serving on the Board of Directors for the Westbury-Carle Place Chamber of Commerce and Westbury Arts, as well as being a member of the Village of Westbury Planning Board. Her dedication to community improvement and client service extends across Nassau, Suffolk, and Queens. Recently, she was honored as Long Island Businesswoman of the Year by the Westbury branch of the Nassau Council of Chambers of Commerce.
