About Will Moore

Will, a lifelong resident of Lexington, Virginia, has deep roots in Rockbridge County, where his family has resided since before 1750, making him a twelfth-generation local. With extensive exposure to James Wm Moore Real Estate Co throughout his life, he is now a licensed Virginia Real Estate Broker, an Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and a Certified Residential Specialist (CRS).

Before joining JWMRE, Will built a successful career in commercial real estate in both Boston, MA, and Washington, DC. Most recently, he worked as an Associate at Landmark Partners, a private equity firm, where he focused on underwriting and closing acquisitions of interests in private real estate funds. Prior to that, he held the position of Senior Analyst at CBRE Capital Markets, specializing in Debt & Equity Finance. In this role, he successfully arranged financing for the acquisition and recapitalization of significant income-producing properties across the United States.

Will graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. He is actively involved in the local real estate community, currently serving as the Immediate Past President of the Rockbridge-Highlands Realtors and participating on the public policy committee for the Virginia Realtors.
