A seasoned real estate broker and lifelong resident of Lake Almanor, William carries on a family legacy in the region. His father, Bill Taylor, arrived in 1952 with his wife, Ruth, alongside developer Ed Clifford. Together, they played a pivotal role in the development, marketing, and sale of key areas such as the Lake Almanor Country Club, Peninsula Drive, Lake Almanor Pines, Hamilton Branch, and the East Shore. During those early days, original lakefront lots were priced between $1,000 and $3,000, often including complimentary interior lots.

William was born and raised in Lake Almanor, graduating from Chester High School in 1980. He furthered his education at the University of Colorado at Boulder and then at Chico State. Now, as a proud parent, he has raised his family in Lake Almanor, marking them as the third generation to experience the unique lifestyle and community that the area offers.

Throughout the years, William has actively participated in various community initiatives, including the development of new sports fields in Chester. He served on the board of directors for the Plumas County MLS for several years and has dedicated countless hours to coaching youth sports at both club and high school levels.
