About William Borden

Bill Borden brings a wealth of experience and specialized training to the real estate sector, adeptly navigating the complexities of today’s market. His comprehensive background encompasses every facet of real estate transactions, providing him with a distinctive and holistic perspective.

With over four decades in the industry, Bill has served as both a Buyer’s Representative and Seller’s Agent, and has managed a successful law firm focused on transaction closings. His extensive expertise includes roles as an Appraiser, Title Underwriter, Mortgage Underwriter, Loan Officer, and a notable position as the Real Estate Wizard for the Wall Street Business Network.

Bill holds undergraduate degrees in real estate and a Doctorate of Jurisprudence with a concentration in real estate law. He has achieved the prestigious CAI designation, the highest available for Real Estate Auctioneers, following a rigorous three-year program at Indiana University. His roots in real estate trace back to his family’s business, established in 1939, and he became the youngest licensed Broker in the Commonwealth at the age of 19.

Throughout his career, Bill has successfully sold both commercial and residential properties, operating offices in Georgia, Alaska, and North Carolina, while serving clients across all 50 states. In the 1980s, he earned Life Membership in the Realtors’ Million Dollar Club by consistently selling over six million dollars in real estate monthly.

Currently, Bill is an active member of the National Realtors’ Auction Committee Leadership Panel and the Atlanta Board of Commercial Realtors. In 1989, he sold his real estate appraisal company, then the largest in Georgia, yet he maintains a Certified General Real Estate Appraisal License, the pinnacle of the appraisal profession. He holds Broker, Appraisal, and Auctioneer licenses in multiple states and is one of the few qualified to serve as a Hearing Officer for the Georgia Department of Revenue, adjudicating property tax disputes exceeding one million dollars.

Bill’s contributions to the community have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce’s “Kennesaw’s Citizen of the Year” award in 2009 and the Cobb County Police Department’s Chief’s Award in 2016. He has held leadership roles in various organizations, including serving as President of the Vinings Business Association and the West Cobb Business Association, and is a member of the Iditarod Official Finishers’ Club.

As a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary and a founding member of the Kiwanis Club of Greater Kennesaw, Bill is deeply committed to community service. His dedication extends beyond real estate; he is also a Finisher of the Iditarod Sled Dog Race, a testament to his perseverance and commitment.

Bill Borden and his team at HIGH CALIBER Companies are dedicated to helping families and businesses achieve their real estate goals, ensuring a secure future for their clients.

The Cobb County real estate market stands as one of Georgia's most dynamic and diverse property landscapes, attracting homebuyers and investors with its unique blend of suburban charm and metropolitan convenience. Located just northwest of Atlanta, this thriving county has experienced remarkable growth over the past decade, transforming from a primarily residential area into a major economic hub that rivals many standalone metropolitan areas across the Southeast.

What makes Cobb County particularly fascinating is its ability to maintain distinct neighborhood identities while supporting a robust network of 11,342 total actively licensed agents—all of whom maintain active email communications. This substantial professional presence reflects the area's consistent transaction volume and the complexity of serving such a geographically and economically diverse market.

Major Cobb County, Georgia Real Estate Markets

Marietta serves as the county seat and primary market driver, offering everything from historic downtown condominiums to sprawling estate properties in prestigious neighborhoods like East Cobb. The city's proximity to major employers and its well-established infrastructure make it a consistent performer in both residential and commercial sectors. Meanwhile, Kennesaw has emerged as a surprising hotspot for young professionals and families, particularly around Kennesaw State University, where townhomes and modern subdivisions command premium prices.

Smyrna represents another crucial market segment, with its revitalized downtown area attracting significant investment in mixed-use developments and luxury apartments. The western portions of the county, including Powder Springs and Austell, offer more affordable entry points while still providing access to Atlanta's job market, creating distinct micro-markets that require specialized local expertise to navigate effectively.

Market Dynamics and Geographic Complexity

Cobb County's real estate landscape is characterized by dramatic price variations that can shift within just a few miles, largely influenced by school district boundaries, proximity to major highways like I-75 and I-285, and access to the Silver Comet Trail. The county's unique position as both a destination for Atlanta commuters and a self-contained economic center creates interesting dynamics where properties near corporate headquarters in Cumberland or the Battery Atlanta command different premiums than similar homes in more traditional suburban settings.

One surprising trend involves the increasing demand for properties near the county's expanding entertainment and sports venues, particularly around Truist Park and the surrounding development. This area has seen property values increase substantially, while simultaneously creating new opportunities for short-term rental investments and commercial real estate ventures that didn't exist just five years ago.

Why Businesses Need Cobb County, Georgia Agent Contact Data

With 11,342 agents with email addresses actively working in this market, the competition for client attention and professional partnerships is intense. Mortgage lenders, home inspectors, contractors, and other real estate service providers need direct access to these professionals to build the referral networks essential for success in such a fragmented market. The sheer number of active agents also indicates the volume of transactions requiring ancillary services.

Additionally, companies looking to relocate employees to the area or real estate technology firms seeking to penetrate this market need comprehensive contact data to effectively reach decision-makers. The diversity of property types and price points means that different agents specialize in vastly different market segments, making targeted communication strategies essential for businesses hoping to establish meaningful professional relationships in Cobb County's competitive real estate ecosystem.
