About Yolanda Moreno

Cristina Bibas serves as the President of Sun & Sea Realty, a company she founded in 2004. Originally from Venezuela, Cristina’s roots trace back to Spain, as both of her parents immigrated from there. She grew up in Zulia, a region known for its oil industry, where she developed a strong foundation for her future endeavors.

Cristina earned her law degree from the University of Zulia in 1984 and began her career in the legal department of a leading insurance company. Her diverse responsibilities there inspired her to pursue further education, leading her to Caracas in 1992 to obtain a Master’s degree in Maritime Law. During this time, she also managed a branch of an insurance company, where she unexpectedly excelled in sales, leading one of the top-performing teams in the country.

In 1997, after gaining valuable experience in real estate in Venezuela, Cristina relocated to the United States, arriving in Miami with aspirations to continue her real estate career. She began investing in properties and, in 1999, obtained her real estate license, joining Wimbish Riteway, a prominent local firm. Following its acquisition by Coldwell Banker in 2002, she decided to pursue her broker’s license, which she achieved in 2004, subsequently establishing her own agency in Key Biscayne.

With a strong legal background, Cristina has been able to guide clients—particularly those from Venezuela—through the complexities of real estate transactions, ensuring they are well-informed and protected from potential risks. Today, she operates an office in Brickell, supported by a dedicated team that addresses a variety of client needs, as well as a branch in Tenerife, Canary Islands.
